Our History

Over 30 years ago, Sid Benstead began his career in the commercial real estate industry. In the days before the Internet, Google and Facebook, Benstead acquired new clients the old-fashioned way…through cold-calling Route 73 businesses that were listed in the Yellow Pages. His dedication and perseverance not only led to his growing reputation as a commercial real estate broker, we even today still have some of those cold-called customers in our database.

After years of being one of the top producers at Berkshire Hathaway, Sid brought his sons Chris and Jason and other valuable team members on board. Today the Benstead Team serves has served over 1,000 clients in South Jersey and is among the top performers at Berkshire Hathaway, and we’re still maintaining our reputation for dedication and customer service.
